Open House Checklist

Prior to an Open House:

Exterior:

• Pick up toys and tools
• Put garbage cans in garage neatly
• Close your garage door
• Park your cars on street or around the corner

Interior:

• Clear off all counter space and table tops
• Turn on all lights
• Open shades and curtains
• Put soft music on stereo
• Give the house a pleasant aroma such as fresh baked bread, fire in fireplace etc.
• Set the dining room table
• Make all of the beds
• Set your thermostat at a comfortable temperature

Place all Information in a localized place:

• Paid utility bills
• Current property tax receipts
• Real estate listing
• Floor Plan
• List of any upgrades you have added to the home
• A map and information on the community and interests in the area
• Any warranty information on appliances being sold or left with the home
